Because i don't know a possibility to set the update-interval in Xtreme, for you i hope a clean install could solve that update-trouble.

Hi,

i'm using emule xTreme-Mod 6.1 and everytime i launch emule it says me "there's a new version of xtreme-mod, click here to download"

the matter is that i've already installed it (from months). For surely i download it again ad installed but of course nothing happens, every time the program bore me with the "new version available"

Is xtreme-mod crazy or is some bug somewhere?

Apparently has the DynDNS address used for version checking been registered by someone else than Xman. This results in faulty displays and you should disable the mod version checking for the time being.

AND THE MOD IS CALLED Xtreme!!!

Scheduler download limit bug

If Scheduler set download limit value to 0, emule stops download instead of unlimit download.

Shut down emule, go to the config-folder and delete "preferences.ini", restart emule.
If this doesn't help you can make a new clean install.

But this should not be a real problem because you can set the downloadlimit at your connection-limit. That should be the same as an unlimited download.

i have a problem in seeing the statistics graphic.
i can see the stats tree but the graphic doesn´t appear. i think is everything activated in the options menu...

move the vertical splitter more to the left. it should be somewhere at the far right... if you don't manage search your preferences.ini for anything that contains "split" and delete that line.

Please help, Emule Extreme 6.1 eats all resources GDI - using more than 10000 GDI handles. Already after 2 days of work Emule on mine Windows XP programs do not work all, and Emule can casually stop loading of greater files then it is necessary to close Emule. I have increased in register GDIProcessHandleQuota=14500 and modifying SharedSection=1024,8192,512 as recommends Microsoft, but Emule all the same eats all resources allocating too much Bitmaps.

I have a question/request...
In the ScarAngel v3.0 some screens have a white background instead of the color defined by Windows.
Kad;Search;Messages;IRC;Options - Color defined by Windows
Servers;Transfers;Shared Files - White color.
This is very annoying, because the white color is too bright, and for that reason I have changed Windows background color to grey, the problem is that it only affects some of this mod screens.
Is it possible to change all for the color defined by Windows? My eyes woulb be very thankfull!... :lol:

please check the design settings. make sure to set anything to default there that has the label background color.

I have checked and the "Background colors" is set to Default, but the backgrounds I referred are white. I realized that the backgrounds I referred could all be set in the design settings. Maybe it's a small bug in that part of the code...

If I set the color in "Background colors" to grey, the backgrounds which were white turn grey, but if I set the color to default, they turn white.

I am using XP with the Classic Style, maybe that's the reason for this strange behaviour...

For now I will keep the "Background colors" set to grey, it solved my problem, but maybe you want to take a look at it and see if it's there any little bug...

Help on upgrading/moving from Xtreme 6.1 to Mephisto or ScarAngel

Since it seems Xtreme mod won't be upgrading anytime soon if ever, I wanted to know
what's the best way to move onto one of the other two Xtreme mods either Mephisto
or ScarAngel. Should I just create a new directory or can I delete some files in the current
eMule directory and copy the files from the archive. My main concern is keeping my settings
of ipfilter, server lists, credit files, current downloads, and some other settings I've changed
in the current options of Xtreme 6.1. Also I've read the FAQ on both mods and it seems that
Mephisto is just like ScarAngel, but has more options. Is this the case? If I was happy with
Xtreme which one most closely resembles it? Additionally I liked it when I moved from vanilla
eMule 48a to Xtreme I liked it's extra features, yet it seemed lightweight. Are both those mods like that?

@ Cyn: just extract the complete archive into a new folder and copy preferences.dat, cryptkey.dat and clients.met from your old config dir to the new one.
i recommend you use the scarangel because its upload is something more like the xtreme one, quite opposite to the mephisto.

Yes I did, and the backgrounds were still white.
I have tryed another thing: I opened Windows Display Properties and reset the windows background colors to grey; after this, the emule backgrounds have changed to grey, as it should be with the default selected. Then, I exited emule and restarted it. The backgrounds appear white again.
It seems to be an initialization problem: when the emule starts, the backgrounds which the color could be set in your mod, are set to white instead of the default color. If you look carefully, you will see that the rectangle which indicates the background color in the Design settings dialog shows the color white. I think it should show the color selected...

Width v6.1 I had fine upload but low download widthout any reason... Then I give chance to v7. and now I have no sources (or 1 :) and sometime upto cca 700) and zero download and upload is zero or less than 3kb/s) When I try to test ports from xtreme, i had result that ports r not open?! On same machine I downloaded true emule prg. Ul and dl is wonderfull. I used same ports! How to fix 7.0? I had few crashes, v6.1 was stable for me. Is it time to bring back original or try something else? What about those fork like scarangel?

solved, my isp is throttling number of connections. torrent works but not perfect.

Problem with the flags in emule Xtreme Mod 7

Have a little problem with emule 0.49b and Xreme Mod 7, the problem is I've lost the flags.

I can connect the servers, I can upload, I can download... the Mod is wonderful, works fine... but I cannot see the flags of the people... so don't know the countries of the people that is downloading stuff from my computer or I am uploading stuff to.

May someone help me, please, to get back the flags?

Close eMule, update the countryflag.dll and countryflag32.dll and ip2country.csv and restart it!

Maybe you should take these files from the Xtreme7.0.BIN.zip folder ;)

After replacing the old files with the new ones, and opening emule again... I still having the same problems, I'm unable to see the flags :(

This problem happened to me when I installed the new XtremeMod, so seems to be something screwed it up in the configuration...

What may I do now?

It's curious because I update the servers met normally update the servers.met in the servers window in the field that says... update server.met from URL...

So, I've only just switched from MorphXT, and I'm liking it, except for this problem:

Minimize to Tray doesn't work for me, on any Xtreme7 and derived mods.

edit: clarification; if i disable min-to-tray i can minimize fine, if I enable it does nothing. works fine on morphxt.

I tried rebuilding my config, but didn't help. I'm Vista64 w. Aero.

Anyone know if there's something I can try?
