ping problem
 

1. Check your internet-settings, have you made changes to your configuration, did you install new software?
2. Check your Hardware, perhaps a plug is loose or your NIC "dies".
3. If you haven't activated 'Protokoll Obfuscation' in your eMule-settings enable it and look if this solves your problem.
4. Have you ever pinged other servers than eMule-servers? Have you notated the results? If yes, ping them now and compare the results, when they match to the further results, your ISP does some filtering could be the answer .
5. I got no further ideas, sorry.

I've been getting a few of the following lately as well as a considerable increase in the number of leechers getting banned ;)

Is there some kind of attack group or new leech version out there that protects these users, since they are not getting banned? I've been using Xtreme 6.0 since it came out and it has only been in the last two weeks that it has begun to eat up memory for no good reason forcing me to shut emule down and then restart it, losing my queues. That's why I turned Verbose on to see what's happening and I find that as my memory dwindles these ban failures seem to increase. I have not touched any settings, and I've been using eMule for years now, read most of the guides, and have never had an real problems until now.

Upgrade from regular Emule
 

Hi.
I've a regular Emule (Non-mod, downloaded from the offical emule site). This is eMule v0.48a.
I want to upgrade it to Xtreme Mod.
How can I install the new mod without couse any damage to the files that are already in download procces?
Is there is some Folders that i should not erase?

Why erase ? Not necessary. Put the emule.exe in your emule folder, overwrite the "old" emule.exe.
start > config > enjoy

And that's it? This is all? Only the "Emule.exe" File?

And where can i find how to config the emule?

Ok, emule.exe is the most important, but after download, extract the antileech.dll and iptocountry.dll, too...
But for the remain it's all!^^ :D

Hello there.
How can we fix the part.met errors that appear on the report?
Like this:
Error: Version of file part.met invalid! (011.part.met => )

I had a eMule mod, with which i could fix this, replacing the file with an older one in a backup folder. With Xtreme mod how do i do it?

Go to the temp-folder, sort by name and delete the part.met. Then rename the part.met.bak to part.met.

and if the error return : delete xxx.part, xxx.part.met and xxx.part.met.bak
make a new download.
