Emule to Emule Xtreme
 

My native language is Spanish. I have a hard time to guest how fill the register form. Please excuse any incorrection in my writing English.
My question is: Can I transfer my credits in Emule to Emule Xtreme? If yes...How can I do that? :i:

You have to copy the files cryptkey.dat and preferences.dat from the config-folder into the config-folder of your Xtreme. If you want to see what you have shared with other clients you should do the same with clients.met.

hi there,
after trying to understand german i was finally able to register.
i have a problem with my xtreme mod.
i updated the version to 5.1.1 but it tells me that all the servers are full and i can't connect to any of them.
it worked fine yesterday but all today it has been doing this, I need some help.

check out your firewall. Maybe you have to re-assigen the rights for the new emule.exe.

i did,the kad network connects no problem but it's just the servers that doesn't connect.

are you sure to use a valid server.met ? The server.met provided with the binary-packet of Xtreme 5.1.1 should be ok.

heres what i get, i updated the server list from emule.it and left the first 5-6 with most files shared.

try BigBang it has most times free capacity. If this doesn't help I don't have any more idea.

hi everybody, I am argentinean living in mexico working for a north america company and writting in deutch forum, what a mix¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

well this is my question:

Today I´ve installed mode extreme and it gets conection with donkey and kad but after 3 minutes this message appears:

VISUAL MICROSOFT C++
RUN TIME ERROR
ABNORMAL

so I have to close the mule and start it again.

Could anyone pls help me with it?

which version do you use ? If you are using the latest version (5.1.1) then I can't help you, because this is the first report about such an error, and I don't have any idea what was going wrong.

I am using 5.1.1...

hmm.. try the offical emule and look if the problem remain.

This isn't a specific Xtreme problem, I think, but related to general bandwidth settings. I'm at a HomePNA connection with which I can upload at 40 or 50 kb/s with other soft than Emule. If I let Emule upload at 10 kb it freezes my net almost totally. I have to keep it at 8 kb. I'm wondering what settings should I tweak to upload a little faster in Emule without killing my connection? Max. connections, sources? I have a Lowid because of the HomePNA firewall (which I can do nothing about).

i had a strange problem with the new version 5.1.2 and had to return back to v. 5.1.1 to resolve it. After installing the v. 5.1.2, i started getting LowId from all of the Big Bang servers whereas this was not the case with the other servers. Since I was certain that I didn't have such a problem with the older version (and with the same connection settings), I returned back to v. 5.1.1 and voila: I am getting HighId again!

Merkwürdig eh? :)
