Ist Bit torrent illegal?

Wollte mir das runterladen aber mein Freund sagt mir das wäre illegal. Der nächste sagt das komme darauf an wozu man das verwenden würde. Und der Dritte sagt ja klar alles legal.
Ich bin völlig durcheinander kann mir jemand sagen ob es illegal es und bitte mit Erklärung?

Bittorrent Client und Netzwerk sind legal. Was Du über BT auf deinen Rechner lädst kann illegal sein. Filme, Musik und Software sind dies in der Regel immer. Bei Chip.de z.B. findest du Software aus dem Freewarebereich die legal über BT gezogen werden kann.

Es ist illegal sobald du Urheberrechte verletzt z.B. download von Filmen oder Musik. Aber wenn dir z.B. nen Kumpel private Urlaubsbilder per BitTorrent schickt, dann nicht.

Doch wenn dir dann Sachen damit saugst Lieder oder FIlme dann ist das illegal.

Das ist ILLEGAL, damit wird man so schnell erwischt. Bist du direkt am Ar*ch. Als die Finger davon!

wenn du urheberrechtlich geschütze sachen runterlädtst ist es illegal, aber wenn du es benutzt um legale Sachen wie z.B. Freeware zu laden ist es legal. macht sinn oder?

Sofern Du damit keine urheberrechtlich geschützten Dateien lädst - also um z.B. Arbeitsdaten mit Kollegen oder Freunden zu tauschen oder **selbstgedrehte** Videos - gibt es da keine Probleme.
