- QueueOverflow with Minimumcontingent
For each file you share, a minimum amount of clients are always allowed to get on your uploadqueue.
The minimumcontingent per file is calculated: queuesize/sharedfiles/2
e.g.: queusize=2000, sharedfiles=20 --> minimumcontingent per file= 50
This means, if uploadqueue is full and a client is asking for a file with less than 50 clients are on uploadqueue, the client is allowed to get on queue.

- See OnUploadqueue
At the shared filelist panel you see now how many clients are on your uploadqueue for each file.
(Modder: this feature is needed for the new Queueoverflow)

- improved friendhandling
From uploadqueue-list, downloadqueue-list and upload-list you can now Add a friend, remove a friend, open friendslot.

- Xman improved Credit System
This feature is an enhancement of the existing credit system. It rewards clients which gives you a high download. This clients gets a bonus factor.
On the other side, clients you upload much data and the don't give something back to you will get a penalty for the current emule session.

formula for positiv bonus:
bonus=(download-upload)/10485760 - (1.0f/(download/10485760)

The max scoreratio is 10. (like official)

(please see the code, I can't explain this very good)

- Xman Full Chunk
This is a compromise of Tarod-Full-Chunk and VQB-Full-Chunk.
Tarod stops the upload when a client request a diffrent chunk. VQB always transfers 9,29MB.
With Tarod it can happen that a user only gets a few Bytes. With VQB your cycling time is to big.
Xman Full Chunk always gives at least 2 MB without looking at the chunk boarder. After 2 MB the upload stops if a new chunks is requestet. The upload also stops after giving ~9,28 MB (~one Chunk).

- Xman Upload reduction
Many people know the problem: if the download is to high they have problems with the upload. This is because every downloaded packet needs an acknowledgement. This acknowledgements make your upload unstable. Because of this many people lower their upload from the beginning. (giving only 10 instead of 14 kbs).
Xman upload reduction looks at the download and reduce the upload softly und slowly when your download increase. If your download decrase the upload increase.
If this feature is enabled you can set a much higher uploadrate.

Recomment Setting: Apply limits to overhead + upload reduction

upload reduction don't work with NAFC full control!
min upload with this feature is always 10kbs!

- CIDE compatible userhash (enkeyDev/Xman)
If you don't have a userhash (prefences.dat) a new one, full CIDE and RSA-SI compatible userhash will be generated. So you can be identified at both systems.

für den ersten Release wäre es vielleicht ganz nützlich, wenn du ed2k-Links mit dir als Quelle und/oder den Server angibst, auf dem du dich befindest. Letzteres bitte auch mit IP und Port, denn den Server SmallCountry habe ich bei mir nicht, auch in einigen HTML-Serverlisten habe ich ihn nicht gefunden. Ist die Angabe überhaupt aktuell?

Die Verbindung Razorback = Smallcountry war mir neu, aber gut zu wissen und hat funktioniert, die G7 war ruckzuck da - und lief nicht :( . Jedesmal beim Start kam die Meldung, das das Tempverzeichnis nicht anlegbar ist (in Englisch). Dabei ist es egal, ob ich vorher das ganze config-Verzeichnis vom LC drin hatte, ob ich das Verzeichnis manuell korrigiert und neu gestartet habe oder sogar deinen Mod komplett ohne config-Verzeichnis gestartet habe, immer die gleiche Fehlermeldung. Im Eingabefenster für das Temp-Verzeichnis stand auch jedesmal irgendwelcher Müll drin. Ich zieh mir jetzt mal die normale Version, obwohl ich mir ehrlich gesagt nicht vorstellen kann, das das an den Compiler-Optionen liegen kann. Vielleicht die falsche Datei ins G7-Archiv gepackt?

So, hab mir jetzt die normale Version gezogen und installiert, diese tut sofort ihren Dienst, auch mit dem Config-Dir vom LC. Scheint also irgendwas bei der G7-Version im Argen zu sein. Oder es tritt wieder mal nur bei mir auf :?

Für alle die keine Quellen habe einfach auf Stop setzen und dann wieder auf Fortsetzen hat bei mir geholfen!!

Die g7hab ich auch fertig und ging recht flott war auf razorback hab ihn dann auf powershare gesetzt hatte aber null anfragen!!nu muss ich aus machen und schlafen morgen früh so 5.00 schmeiss ich den pc wieder an hab die g7 noch nich probiert hab moment nen andern test am laufen vielleicht morgen bissl mehr.

Usul, also ich kann mir das mit der G7 nicht erklären. Hab eigentlich beide hintereinander compiliert und auch an den Compileroptionen nicht geändert. Als ich das dann alles zusammenstellte war ich zwar ein wenig gestreßt, aber im schlimmsten Fall hab ich ne falsche Version reingepackt. Allerdings dürfte selbst dann so ein Fehler wie Du hast nicht kommen. Ich weiß nicht mal wie der kommt, den hab ich nicht programmiert und auch noch nie gesehen ;-)
Nun ja, falls nochmal jemand das Problem mit der G7 hat dann compilier ich sie neu.

Es hilft auch die Suche herzunehmen.
In der Suche zb. emuleXtreme1.0G7.rar eingebn, so habe ich gleich eine Quelle gefunden.

Die normale version steht bei mir auf Release! :wink:

ich bin auf eure Erfahrungen gespannt. Ich hab kurz vor dem Release noch 3 Codezeilen hinzugefügt die evtl ein Downloadproblem lösen (ich berichtete im emule Allgemein Forum darüber). Ich kann es noch nicht mit 100% Sicherheit sagen ob das Problem gelöst ist, allerdings kann ich sagen, daß ich nur 7% fehlgeschlagene Downloadsessions hab. Das ist mein Rekord! Nun bin ich gespannt obs Zufall ist oder der Bug wirklich gefixed ist.

Hab die Eselsuche benutzt und nach 5min. war sie da. Steht jetzt auf Release.
Zur G7 kann ich nur sagen das ich schon die Maella..Xman Version nicht zum laufen bekam.

ich glaub das ganze G7-Optimierungs-Zeugs bringt eh nicht so viel. Es wird überschätzt. Ich biete es dennoch an, weil es manche eben so haben wollen und es für mich nicht wesentlich mehr arbeit bedeutet.

Übrigens: neuer Link für die Sources. Ich hab eine temporäre Datei rausgeschmissen. Nun sind sie 500kb kleiner. (thx Maella for the tip).

Ich hab die G7-Version nochmal neu compiliert. (thx Maella for the tip). Möglicherweise hat der Compiler dort beim ersten Mal einen Fehler reingebracht.

Uploadreduction (wie schon im ersten Post erklärt) vermindert Deinen Upload ganz langsam, wenn Du hohen Download hast. Schließlich braucht jeder Download auch etwas Uploadbandbreite. Genau aus diesem Grund gilt ja immer die Empfehlung seinen Upload nicht auf das Limit zu setzen. Man setzt es meistens so weit herunter, daß man auch bei hohen Download stabil bleibt.
Mit dieser Option kannst Du nun Deinen Upload viel höher als normal setzen. Wenn Du hohen Download bekommst wird er automatisch heruntergesetzt.
Zusätzlich kannst Du noch die Option "Übernehme Uploadlimit für Overhead und Daten" setzen. Dann wird der Overhead ebenso als Upload gezählt.
Mit diesen beiden Optionen aktiviert solltest Du in der Lage sein einen Upload ca. 1,5 - 2k unter Deinem Limit einstellen können und er wird immer stabil bleiben. In der Summe wird somit wesentlich mehr ans Netz gegeben.

Wie der Zeilensprungtest funktioniert hab ich mir noch nicht angesehen. Das ist von Maella übernommen. Soll wohl verhindern, daß Fehlalarm bei bin-Dateien ausgelöst wird. Funktioniert zwar besser als das alte Defeat 0 Part Senders, aber ist auch nicht 100% Zuverlässig.
Zu "SendSocketBufferSize" schau mal in den Maella Thread. Besser kann ichs auch nicht erklären. Meiner Erfahrung nach bringt ein Ändern des Wertes nichts. Also einfach lassen.

Erstmal THX für die Erklärung
Bis jetzt dachte ich das der Upload eh automatisch bei viel Download runtergeht, zumindest hab ich das so beobachtet (Bei den letzten Sivkas z.B.). Bei zu hohen Up Limit war allerdings kaum was an Download zu erreichen. Hatte die Funktionen (Uploadreduction+Overheadbandbreite)aber schon mal zum testen angeschaltet, wußte halt nur nicht so genau was die Uploadreduction dabei macht.

beim z.B. sivka (wie bei fast jedem anderen Mod auch) geht der Upload dadurch runter weil Deine Bandbreite ausgeschöpft ist. Dadurch bremst Du allerdings den ganzen emule aus (also auch den Download). Cleverer ist es also, wenn emule selbst den upload runterregelt. Und dies macht diese Option.
(NAFC mit Full Control aktiviert macht das übrigens auch, nur noch exakter. Allerdings schaut dann Dein Upload recht ungleichmäßig aus und außerdem wird hier der gesamte Upload-Traffic aller Programme gemessen. Ist also eine komplett andere Technik, zu vergleichen mit SUC und USS. Siehe hierzu Forum "Mod Features erklärt").

Also kann ich bei NAFC die Uploadreduction ausschalten. Ist ein cooles Feature die NAFC deswegen war ich ja auch so scharf auf die neue Version. Mit cfos surf ich ja schon besser, aber wie du bereits sagtest ist es besser wenn der Esel das selber regelt.

Xman, Dickes Lob an dich also läuft echt gut der Mod und habe es geschaft das der upload sehr stabil läuft im gegensatz zur orginal maella version. Hast echt gute arbeit gemacht :mrgreen:

So aber ein paar kleine Frage zu den einstellungen habe ich noch:

1.Ist "NAFC" nicht eigentlich besser als "Upload Reduction at download"?

2.Was sind dann die Vorteile von "Upload Reduction at download"?

3.Maella's->Files->Enable new Upload Slot Sharping; was ist das bzw. was bewirkt es?

Also am besten läuft es wennNAFC aus ist und new Upload Slot Sharping an ist dann wird der upload auc stabil

Das der Upload bei aktivierten NAFC schwankt ist doch logisch, weil dort ja dann auch die anderen Internetaktivitäten drin sind, d.h. wenn du surfst oder so wird der Upload auotmatisch runtergeregelt. Wenn du dann auf der Seite ein bisschen liest geht der upload halt wieder nach oben.
